My 8-month-old grabbed these the moment I handed them to her, and the soft rattle sound they make is so gentle on her ears. The pastel paint has held up perfectly even after she chews on them every day, and the eggs are just the right size for her little hands to shake and switch between them.
The pastel colors are so pretty in person, and the soft rattle sound is gentle enough that I don't mind when my baby shakes them near my ear. My little one's already grabbing for them during tummy time, which is perfect for working on those early rhythm skills.
The pastel colors are lovely and the sound is gentle enough that it doesn't grate on my nerves after an hour of shaking. My son gripped the smooth wood easily and seemed fascinated by the rhythm it made when he tapped two together.
