My one-year-old grabbed for this the moment I opened the box, and the chunky letters are perfect for her little hands to grip and chew on. The multicolor earth tones look great on our living room rug, and I love that it's teaching her letter shapes while she plays.
The earth-tone colors are much prettier in person than in the photos, and the pieces feel solid and smooth for little hands. Took off one star because the letters are a bit small for my 14-month-old to grip easily, but she still enjoys knocking them around and chewing on the edges.
